ClickSoftware Adds Major Telecom Company to its Client Base

ClickSoftware (News - Alert) Technologies Ltd., a prominent supplier of automated mobile workforce management and optimization solutions for the service industry, was recently selected by a leading telecommunication services firm to standardize and enhance the workflow of its field workers.

According to company officials, ClickSoftware will provide its optimization and mobility solutions to improve the telecom company’s operations and allow it to offer better customer service. ClickSoftware offers a ready to configure, deploy and use solution for every workforce in the service sector, running on any mobile device.

The solution has pre-integrated the “plumbing” behind mobile enterprise computing with standard support for Sybase’s (News - Alert) Mobile Platform (SMP), Mobilink, SQL Ultralite, SQL Anywhere, and other mobile infrastructure leaders.

With the new solution, the telecom company will be able to streamline its operations as well as eliminate any kind of paper work. The solution can be configured according to the needs of field resources working on smartphones or laptops, as well as the needs of executives using tablets – all with drag-and-drop assembly and configuration of the apps at each employee’s disposal.

Business objects can be easily grouped in various ways, such as by job type or in engineer groups, and assigned standard or individualized calendars. The service also renders a deep library of templates prescribing business policies (i.e. rules and objectives) and work flows, governing the behavior of objects.

ClickSoftware projects a fair increase in revenue upon the release of its annual financial report for the year ending June.
